When Things Are Not Your Own

Visiting family can be an exercise in patience.  Because I wouldn't do things this way or that sometimes puts me in jeopardy of being too insistent and that doesn't bode well.  Quiet is a good thing; stepping back is another good thing.  Let them live and you coast. OK?

  1. For me, family means fraternal pride but also frustration, both at the decisions my kids make and my inability to have raised them in such a manner that their decisions would have been better. It is really hard sometimes to just keep quiet, step back and coast. Good advice, but hard to do! Hang in there, Sally!
